in full foliage

As we’ve gotten further and further into fall, I’ve been really trying to enjoy it. Christmas for me represents being done with school for a bit and being able to enjoy my life for a little bit. So I am having a very difficult time focusing on the present and fall, and being happy in the fall. Spending time with my friends, doing fall “themed” activities has definitely made it a lot better, though. I would highly recommend it 🙂

So here are some fun things to do in the fall that don’t require too much work or money.

  1. Go hiking in the woods
  2. Do fun fall photoshoots with pumpkins or sheets and glasses
  3. Make fall crafts, like knitting or crocheting pumpkins and leaves
  4. Get pumpkin spice lattes together and enjoy the fall colors
  5. Rake some leaves into a pile and then of course, jump in- because we all know that no matter how old you get, you never grow out of leaf piles.
  6. Go for a bike ride
  7. Carve pumpkins
  8. Have costume parties
  9. Participate in Trunk-or-Treats with your car
  10. Go for drives down back, country roads that have plenty of fall colors and adventures
  11. Collect leaves and find different, interesting ways to preserve them

In general, it is always nice to find ways to spend time with the people that you love while also enjoying God’s beautiful creation. These are just a few of the ways that I have found help me enjoy this season that God has given me 🙂
